A cut mango on a wooden board, a storm coming in over the forest, and the smell of wet red earth when it finally breaks.
Mango, papaya, pineapple, lime and peppermint open it bright and juicy, with a breath of ozone. Then it turns: a metallic, iron-and-blood accord runs through guava, more mango and tiaré flower. The base goes down into red earth, tobacco, ebony, milk, white musk and an animalic warmth.
This is the first scent in the house's Oscurata collection, and the fruit is very much a front door to a darker experience. Extrait de Parfum at 35%.
