Green sap is the smell of a broken stem — bitter, wet, vegetal. It opens this sharp and alive. Patchouli follows with earth and a little damp cellar, and amber underneath warms it into something resinous.
Green at the top, brown at the bottom. It smells like the bank of a river rather than the river.
