A forest path at night: cold air, wet ground after rain, and a thread of incense drifting from somewhere you can't see. A cold, abstract and ghostly metallic rose.
The name comes from Victor Hugo, from two riders in a dark forest and the line "Hermann beside me seemed a shadow." This is that shadow, the companion you can't lose. Cool, green, a little smoky, and strangely comforting.
