A market before the sun's properly up: crates of potatoes still dusty from the field, beetroot stacked next to them, someone's coffee going cold on a trestle table.

BOHOBOCO's founder grew up in Żywiec, in southern Poland, and this is his market. It opens on grass, wheat, pine, beetroot and a thread of leather. The middle is rose, heliotrope and clove around a potato accord. Then it goes down into the soil — patchouli, birch, hay, earth, oud, honey, labdanum and benzoin.

Yes, there's a potato at the centre of it. That's the point.
