What it smells like on skin
Sun-warmed yellow flowers surrounded by leaves rather than suntan lotion. Ylang-ylang is unmistakable, while ginger and pink pepper sharpen it and vetiver gives the scent a dry green base.

The air is warm and green. Leaves overlap overhead, still wet from rain. Somewhere inside all that vegetation is a small yellow flower whose scent seems almost too large for it.
You notice the ylang-ylang first—but it isn't reclining beside a swimming pool in coconut and vanilla. It is still attached to the tree.
There is sap. Crushed foliage. Ginger cut open with a knife. Pink pepper rolling beneath your fingers. Sunlight reaches the flower in brief flashes through the canopy, warming it without turning it heavy.
Eau Mohéli feels like discovering that something you thought you knew has another life entirely.
As the brightness settles, vetiver draws the fragrance closer to the earth. The flower remains, but now you can smell the landscape around it too.
It is tropical perfume without the postcard: more leaf than cocktail, more island air than beach bar.
