Zoologist — Camel (1.5 ml brand original sample)
Dates and dried fruit over incense, and it smells like a market rather than a garden.
Olibanum and myrrh give it the resin backbone. Cinnamon and rose warm the middle. Then it goes animal: civet and oud in the base, with sandalwood and vanilla keeping the edges from cutting.
This is the one Zoologist collectors argue about most. Some find it a desert caravan; others find it too close to the animal itself. Both descriptions are of the same fragrance, which tells you something.
Brand original sample — not a decant.
This is Zoologist’s own 1.5 ml sample vial. It is sold as a complete sealed unit.
