Penhaligon's — Halfeti
Rich, dark and layered — the fragrance that proved Penhaligon's do more than English florals.
Saffron and cardamom open it spiced, with cypress leaf and grapefruit keeping it from going heavy too soon. Bulgarian rose and nutmeg fill the heart. Then it drops properly: oud, leather, sandalwood, tonka and vanilla, all arriving at once.
Named for a village on the Euphrates where a very dark, almost black rose grows in conditions found nowhere else. Christian Provenzano composed it.
Yours is the original Halfeti. There are Cedar, Leather and Amber versions and they are different fragrances.
