Floraiku — Between Two Trees
Three notes and a job to do.
Grapefruit arrives first and leaves quickly. What stays is maté — the South American tea, smoky and dry and faintly bitter — sitting on nutty vetiver. Warm, a little ashy, and unlike almost anything else.
Floraïku built two fragrances designed to be worn over other fragrances. This is the dark one: spray it on top of something else and it adds weight and shadow. It works alone too, if smoky-dry is where you live.
The house was founded by Clara and John Molloy, who also started Memo Paris. Every fragrance carries a haiku.
