Vanilla, but the warm-spice kind rather than the bakery kind.
Cinnamon and cardamom open it, with orange blossom absolute stopping the spice going heavy. The vanilla is Madagascan bourbon and it sits in the middle of everything rather than on top of it. Praline in the base does the sweet work and knows when to stop.
Julien Sprecher's brief was a fresh vanilla, which is harder than it sounds — vanilla wants to be thick. This one stays lifted.
Comparisons to orange-vanilla ice cream come up constantly in reviews. Not far off, though drier than that makes it sound.
