Versace Eros Parfum Decant

Versace Eros Parfum starts bright, but it doesn’t stay there. Italian lemon and mandarin open the fragrance with a clean citrus hit, sharpened by litsea cubeba, elemi and black pepper. Then the aromatic side takes over: lavender, geranium and clary sage give the middle a greener, more structured feel.

The dry-down is where it becomes warmer and deeper. Benzoin and vanilla soften into Cashmeran, patchouli and Haitian vetiver, taking Eros from fresh citrus into something smoother, woodier and more enveloping.

This is still recognisably bold Eros territory, but the Parfum’s official note structure leans away from a simple fresh opening and into aromatic herbs, resin, woods and vanilla as it develops. Versace classifies it as citrusy, aromatic and oriental

Try this if… You like fragrances that start fresh but finish warm; you enjoy lavender and aromatic herbs alongside vanilla, resin and woods; or you want something polished and masculine without staying in straightforward “blue fresh fragrance” territory.

Also worth trying if Eros has always intrigued you but you don’t know which version is yours. A small decant makes considerably more sense than trying to solve that question from note lists alone.
