Byredo — Mojave Ghost
Airy, watery and slightly strange — one of the most divisive things Byredo make.
Sapodilla opens it: a tropical fruit that smells somewhere between pear and brown sugar, with ambrette musk beside it. Magnolia and violet in the heart keep it floral without turning sweet. Sandalwood, amber and cedar underneath give it the dry, faintly papery quality that people either love or find flat.
Reviews run from the most unique thing I own to a slightly watery citrus... The entire argument for trying 2ml first.
