Green and sharp and clean, with a pepper crackle running through it.
Bamboo and green tea open it, with Sichuan pepper adding the tingling, citrusy prickle it adds to food. Lemon and mandarin brighten the top.
Osmanthus in the heart is the interesting turn — apricot and leather at the same time — with lily and orange blossom around it and a thread of incense underneath. Vetiver, moss and cedar close it dry.
One of the earliest Zoologists, from 2014, and still one of the best.
