Zoologist — Bee (1.5 ml brand original sample)
Honey, but the hive rather than the jar. Beeswax is the note doing the work — waxy, slightly dusty, closer to a candle than a spoonful — with ginger and orange cutting across it at the top.
Mimosa and broom in the heart are the yellow-flower notes, fuzzy and pollen-warm. Then vanilla, tonka and labdanum settle it into something rich and enveloping.
A finalist at the 2020 Art & Olfaction Awards, and one of the two or three most wearable things Zoologist make.
Brand original sample — not a decant.
This is Zoologist’s own 1.5 ml sample vial. It is sold as a complete sealed unit.
