The name is doing a lot of work, and then the fragrance turns out to be genuinely dark. Cinnamon opens it hot and dry. Frankincense arrives underneath with that cool, resinous, slightly smoky quality that reads as ceremonial. Tonka rounds it off with an almond-hay sweetness.
