Amouage — Love Hibiscus (2 ml brand original sample)
New in March 2026, and already dividing people!
Passionfruit and salted caramel open together — Amouage describe the caramel side as a sugar-glazed palmier: buttery, pastry-sweet, browned at the edges. Hibiscus in the heart is tart and slightly herbaceous, with orris and frankincense cutting the sweetness. Sandalwood, cypriol and vanilla close it.
Some call it a properly grown-up fruity gourmand. Others cannot get past the passionfruit-and-caramel pairing at all. There is no consensus yet and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise.
