Rose and dessert, in that order, and it moves a lot depending on the weather.
Ginger, cinnamon and mandarin open sharp. Rose water carries through into a proper rose in the heart, softened by powdery heliotrope and jasmine. Then it turns — vanilla, cacao and rum absolute in the base, with cypriol giving it a dry woody edge so it never collapses into pudding.
From Amouage's Secret Garden collection, built deliberately to be easier to wear than the house's usual work. Pascal Gaurin composed it.
