Zoologist — Moth (1.5 ml brand original sample)
Dark, resinous and faintly ritual.
Spices hit first and hard. Then rose comes through sweetened with honey, sitting on powdery florals that soften the edges. Underneath is nagarmotha — cypriol, an Indian root that smells like smoke, leather and damp earth all at once — with guaiac wood and patchouli.
Smoke runs through the whole thing. Reviewers reach for words like witchy and ceremonial, and they are not being fanciful.
Brand original sample — not a decant.
This is Zoologist’s own 1.5 ml sample vial. It is sold as a complete sealed unit.
