Parfums de Marly — Greenley (1.5 ml brand original sample)
Green apple, and then a long grassy stretch that people either find refreshing or find soapy.
Bergamot and mandarin sharpen the opening. Petitgrain and cedar do the green work through the middle — this is where the freshly-cut-grass comparisons come from — and oakmoss, amberwood and patchouli ground it underneath.
It is the most casual thing Parfums de Marly make, and the reviews split cleanly down the middle. Nathalie Templer composed it.
Brand original sample — not a decant.
This is Parfums de Marly’s own 1.5 ml sample vial. It is sold as a complete sealed unit.
